Saturday, August 3rd
9 am - 3 pm - Tell City Jr.-Sr. High School
The second annual indoor/outdoor Archery Tournament will take place in the Auxiliary Gym at Tell City Junior-Senior High School. Participants of all ages are welcome. The competition will be divided into various styles of archery. There will be a NASP division, with elementary, middle school and high school classes. National Field Archery Association freestyle and hunter freestyle will have two divisions, both shooting 30 arrows from a distance of 20 yards. The classes in these divisions will be adult male, adult female and youth (ages 15 and under). We will also have a traditional archery division for adults that will follow NASP scoring and distance rules. There will be adult male and female classes only. 39th Annual Old Timers Baseball Game
6:00 pm - Frank Clemens Field at Walter Hagedorn Park
Tri-state players (active or inactive) over the age of 40 are invited to participate. Registration begins at 5:00 pm. Players are requested to wear the uniforms they wore during their playing days (if possible). Each participant will receive an official Schweizer Fest hat. Schweizer Fest 3-On-3 Youth Basketball Tourney
9:00 am - Bryan Taylor Sports Area at Tell City Jr.-Sr. High School
Available for 5th-6th grade teams and 7th-8th grade teams (using 2013-14 school year grade level). $40 entry fee per team (3 player minimum; 4 player max). This will be a highly competitive double-elimination 3 on 3 basketball tournament. Each team is guaranteed two games. Games WILL BE OFFICIATED. The championship team from each division will receive a trophy. ALL teams must be pre-registered by Friday, August 2nd (click here for your copy of the registration form). Perry County Fitness Games - Event 1
Participants (both male and female) will compete in 6 different events over 2-3 days to test their overall fitness. Register at New Directions Health and Wellness Club any weekday from 9a.m. – 6p.m. Fees are $20 per person ($15 per student), includes a T-shirt. LAST DAY OF SIGNUPS WILL BE WEDNESDAY AUGUST 7th.
Scoring: You get the same number of points in correlation to your place in each event. For example, if an individual finishes first in event 1 then they get 1 point, then if they finish fifth in event 2 they get 5 points. The lowest TOTAL score of all event placing will be the winner. (Lowest possible score is 6)
1st- $100 cash, 6 months free membership to New Directions Fitness Facility, 1st Place Tshirt

The course winds through the streets of downtown Tell City before heading through some challenging hills for the 6-mile participants. Participants must complete an official entry form before 7:30 a.m. the day of the race. Award ceremony takes place on Musik Halle stage after the race. Schweizer Fest Bicycle Tour

There are four rides to choose from: 62-mile ride starts at 8:15; 31-mile race starts at 8:30; 18-mile starts at 8:45 and a 6-mile family fun ride starts at 9:00.
